HUDDERSFIELD Town may be on a dreadful run of form and facing mission impossible in their bid to stay in the Premier League, but head coach David Wagner insists there are still plenty of positives for him to take into today’s clash at

Cardiff City.

The Terriers have lost their last nine matches, are eight points from safety and four points adrift of Fulham who are second from bottom.

But Wagner saw some positives in the FA Cup defeat at Bristol City last weekend which gives him hope for today’s trip to Wales.

He said: “(Jon Gorenc) Stankovic performed on a good level at Bristol and Jason Puncheon did a good job for his first 90 minutes, physically as well.

“You can see how experienced he is, how calm he is on the ball and he really gives the players a shoulder to lean on - even in training.

“And the game before Steve Mounie scored his first goal so, yes, there are positive signs on the horizon.

“At the end it’s all about staying up and, for that, it’s all about standing up as well and taking the responsibility for yourselves, for your individual performance and for everything you can influence.

“If everybody can give this individual energy and this individual responsibility into the group, then we can have enough to beat Cardiff City.” HUDDERSFIELD Town forward Collin Quaner is confident the Terriers can clinch Premier League survival this season, despite being eight points off the pace.

The 27-year-old joined Ipswich Town on loan for the rest of the season earlier this week, but
