THE judges have done their work and now the finalists can be revealed for The Examiner Business Awards 2019 in partnership with Bramleys.

It’s been another tough round of judging but the shortlist has been compiled.

Now the countdown is on to the Examiner Business Awards 2019 – and it’s time to book your tickets to avoid disappointment.

Wayne Ankers, editor of ExaminerLive and the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, said the standard of entries this year had raised the bar yet again.

Mr Ankers, who was one of the judges, said: “The quality of entries never ceases to amaze me and we seem to go up a level every year.

“Huddersfield and the wider Kirklees area has some great businesses and it’s a privilege to find out more about them and to give credit where it’s due.

“It’s never an easy task for the judges and there’s always some head scratching when it comes to deciding which businesses should come out on top.

“But we have to have a shortlist – and we have to have winners – and we can now reveal who our finalists are. Congratulations and good luck to them all, and thanks to all those who entered.”

The much-anticipated black-tie awards dinner will be held at the John Smith’s Stadium in Huddersfield on Thursday, November 7. It will be hosted once again by BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration.

Winners in 12 award categories will be revealed on the night in what is an annual celebration of all that’s great about businesses in and around Huddersfield.

Tickets will be sold in the first instance to the award finalists on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
