Kachunga reveals Town reaction to Grab gaffe
HUDDERSFIELD Town’s Elias Kachunga believes the side reaped the benefits of their positive reaction to Kamil Grabara’s error in gifting a goal to Wigan Athletic just before the break on Saturday.
Kachunga made his 100th league appearance for Town on Saturday, playing the full 90 minutes as Danny Cowley’s side came back from a goal

Plenty of fans have piled onto Grabara, but Danny Cowley pointed out such errors are to be expected of a young goalkeeper and Kachunga has also indicated there were few recriminations among the players in the dressing room at half-time.
The winger said: ”Mistakes can happen. The team showed a really good reaction to come back from 1-0 down, no-one was moaning with the goalkeeper. I think that’s really good, it shows we’re coming together as a team and that we’re strong as a team. We don’t get down only because of a mistake from someone, we fight for each other.
“Normally this mistake shouldn’t happen but it can happen, it’s football.
“Everyone makes mistakes and we know it. As a team, you either you let someone down and don’t try help him up from this situation or you give everything to help him, and I think as a team we did a great job to come back.”
Asked if the players supported Grabara at the break, Kachunga said: “Of course, of course. We want to play sometimes out from the back so we know that with the goalkeeper, sometimes it can happen if you get a bit of pressure.
“He knows he has to do it better but there’s nothing he’s done on purpose. It’s a mistake.”
