Thanks so much to NHS after near-death moment

PRITI Patel should be mightily commended for her wholehearted and repentant apology.

We live in a sin sick world because of what happened in the Garden of Eden and Priti is no different.

What her repentant apology proves is that Priti has standards and even though the world in which we live allowed her to fall below them, her other work as Home Secretary over the last year has been second to none.

The civil service have had it in for her from day one.

Except, where as Theresa May and other previous holders of the portfolio did exactly what “Humphrey” advised, our Priti showed them who is boss.

May God bless Priti Patel. She remains the best Home Secretary in a generation.

Keep up the great work Priti – I for one love you!

I WISH to share my awful experience, I can say that I’ve actually seen death right in front of my eyes.

At lunchtime today I was sitting in my conservatory and having bought these multi-vitamin tablets I thought I’d take one. The tablet was oval shaped, I took out one tablet and placed it in my mouth and tried wash it down with water.

Immediately I was in trouble as it became wedged in my throat and I simply could not breathe and it didn’t matter how hard I tried, it wouldn’t go down or come back out, I know my breathing stopped and I sort of started seeing black. As I was alone in the room I was so frightened that I could see myself dying alone downstairs!

Somehow I managed to walk upstairs to my wife Tahira who was reading namaz/praying. I sort of made a desperate noise for breath and she noticed I was turning blue, couldn’t speak and that something was terribly wrong. She broke her prayer and started immediately thumping on my back to clear my throat and at the same time she called 999 for help!

The ambulance call handler started to guide her on what to do by telling her that I should cough hard and an ambulance was on its way. The 999 call handler was so calm and professional and a minute or so later thankfully the tablet cleared my throat and I started to breathe again.

I can say those few minutes felt like a lifetime as I turned blue. I know for sure the brilliant 999 call handler and my wife saved my life!

Our NHS service is the best in the world without a doubt, please appreciate what we have and praise them.

I thank my Maker for giving me another opportunity to live and spend time with my loved ones, I’m indebted!

Priti: the brazen hypocrisy of it all

HE is a one, ‘good old Boris.’ He sat on the report on Priti Patel, written by his own standards adviser, for several months – and then finally decided to address this report during anti-bullying week. Irony cannot possibly be dead, and is obviously still very much alive and kicking

One of the reasons for the delay in dealing with the report was apparently the Prime Minister’s attempts to have it made ‘more palatable’

The central finding of the report was that Priti Patel’s behaviour had been in breach of the ministerial code of conduct, with the various occasions when she shouted and swore at staff meeting the definition of bullying.

So what was our learned Prime Minster’s response to this report? He has effectively dismissed it and we now have a situation where, for what is thought to be the first time ever, a minister has been found guilty of a serious breach of the ministerial code of conduct and remained in post. It is hard to imagine another workplace in the country where this kind of behaviour would be tolerated.

This is another example of how the Prime Minister clearly seems to think things like rules and laws do not apply to his ministers, his advisors or his family. These are instead just for us ‘little people.’ I can only admire the brazen hypocrisy.
