Donald Murray, 75, of Derwent Close, Cottingham, was fined £140 and had six penalty points added to his licence for driving a large goods vehicle without insurance in Beverley Road, Hull. He must pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
Dawn Wilson, of Caroline Street, west Hull, was banned from driving for six months and fined £440 for driving without insurance in St George’s Road, west Hull. The court said she was banned because of “repeat offending”. She must also pay £85 costs and a £44 victim surcharge.
Rafal Juchta, 26, of Acland Street, west Hull, was banned from driving for six months and fined £434 for driving without insurance or a licence in Acland Street. The court said he was banned because of “repeat offending”. He must pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.
Youth court
A 15-year-old boy from east Hull was made the subject of a youth rehabilitation order with activity requirements for stealing a bike worth £450, stealing a motorbike, stealing a box of Twix chocolate bars, worth a total of £48, from Poundland, stealing chocolate and fizzy drinks from Poundland. He also breached an existing youth rehabilitation order, which had been imposed for a number of thefts. The boy must also pay £975 in compensation.
A 17-year-old boy from Bransholme was given a youth rehabilitation order, including a six-month 6pm to 7am curfew, for resisting arrest, stealing a bike worth £5,000, damaging a Vauxhall Astra, possessing an axe in the street, and using threatening behaviour. He also admitted two counts of witness intimidation and breaching a restraining order.
