HE’S been in the dark for ages, but when Sinead collapses at work and is taken to hospital in an ambulance, Daniel realises something is seriously wrong – and Ken breaks the news that she has cervical cancer. Daniel’s devastated, but also furious that his dad didn’t tell him, and that Sinead has refused treatment because of the baby. Emotional and angry, surprisingly, it’s Peter who plays peacemaker and makes Daniel realise he has to step up and support his wife.
