“The difficult times test you,” he added. “It’s important to look after yourself. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you doing exercise? Are you managing your time and speaking to the right people?
“You have to be able to reflect on what you’ve done but also be clear in your thinking and have a plan.
“Yes, you’ve got to win games but you have to focus on performances as well and get the fundamentals right.”
