As the fight to avoid relegation from the Championsh­ip looks set to go right down to the wire, we catch up with writers from across the clubs involved in the drop fight to gauge the temperatur­e at those teams, from Hull City to Middlesbro­ugh and Huddersfie­ld Town.

A lot can change in eight days. After the impressive win over Stoke, the feeling was Boro would kick on against woefully out of form Hull and a QPR side that headed for Teesside on the back of three successive defeats.

Two damaging losses later and the reality of the dire situation Boro find themselves in has well and truly hit home.
