Boy fighting for life after horror crash that killed his friend, 10
A BOY who was seriously injured in the Anlaby Road crash that killed ten-yearold Steven Duffield remains in a critical condition in hospital, police have said.
A man who had been arrested following the crash on Monday evening has been released under investigation.
Steven Duffield was killed while riding his bicycle with his friend after a collision on the Anlaby Road flyover at around 6pm on Monday.
Both boys were rushed to Hull Royal Infirmary, where Steven tragically died.
In an update yesterday afternoon, a spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “A boy remains in a critical condition following a collision on Anlaby Road, Hull on the evening of Monday, October 19.

Tributes to Steven have already been left at the scene of the crash this week, while several people gathered in West Park on Tuesday to release balloons in his memory.
As tributes poured in, Steven’s cousin Alan Duffield said: “He was only ten. He was a nice lad - a cheeky chappy.
“The parents are devastated. They are releasing some balloons at the park then coming to see where it happened.
“I miss him so much. I can’t say more than that.”
A crowdfunding page has also been set up to help fund his funeral and give him the send-off he deserves.
