Cyclist found badly injured after search
A CYCLIST has been found badly injured near Bridlington four hours after a frantic search for her was launched.
A search team, including fire crews and North Yorkshire Mountain Rescue, was dispatched to look for the woman who was later found seriously injured, having come off her bicycle, on the Woldgate road.
She was rushed to hospital and is recovering from injuries not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said: “Officers were in the Woldgate area of Bridlington, after a woman was found seriously injured having come off her bike at 9.15am on Monday.
“We are working to establish the circumstances which led to the woman being injured and the road remained closed for some time.
