Mcdonald’s trip could cost hungry driver
A TRIP to the drive-thru Mcdonald’s for a box of chicken nuggets could prove very costly for one driver.
The alarm was raised when the man, 39, went to the drive-thru at the Willerby restaurant, pictured, on May 4, when he appeared to have been drinking.
He was later stopped by police and arrested on suspicion of drinkdriving and will now appear in court next month.
A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “A 39-year-old man has been charged with driving over the legal limit and has been released to appear at Hull Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, June 16.
“A man is reported to have attended a drive-thru takeaway in Willerby while under the influence of alcohol and attempted to order chicken nuggets.”
