ANDY’S Man Club and global greetings card giant Hallmark have partnered in a new initiative to help raise awareness of mental health issues among young men.

A collection of sensitively designed mental health themed cards has been launched to help reach out to men struggling with any kind of mental health-related problem.

The collection includes one card that reads, “You can always talk to me and not just about football”; another reads the simple sentiment, “I love you man”.

Neil Waine, Andy’s Man Club project development champion for the East, said: “We are all hugely excited by our partnership with Hallmark Greeting Cards.

“It has never been more important to check in on your mates than now and these cards give people the perfect opportunity.

“We’re humbled to have gone from nine men in one room back in 2016 to a group with 50 clubs nationwide in 2021.

“Relationships like our partnership with Hallmark will help us continue to grow from strength to strength and show more people that it is OK to talk.”

Andy’s Man Club is a volunteerled, peer to peer support group for men aged 18 and above whose aim is to reduce the male suicide rate
