Katoa is on Saints’ radar

ST Helens are busy making recruitment plans for 2022 themselves, with League Express reporting that they are targeting Canterbury Bulldogs hooker Sione Katoa.

The Tonga international plays under St Helens coach Kristian Woolf at international level and could be the man to replace James Roby if he decides to retire at the end of the year.

Katoa, 26, started his career with Penrith Panthers before joining the Bulldogs ahead of the 2020 season.
