Bus Fair: How to get to showground
TRANSPORT PLANS FOR HULL FAIR VISITORS
STAGECOACH has announced it is putting on extra buses to get to and from this year’s Hull Fair.
Special services will run from tomorrow until Saturday, October 16, except on Sunday, October 10, when the fair will be closed.
Buses will run every evening from across the city, dropping off at Anlaby Road near Walton Street.
People travelling from further afield can use Park and Ride buses from the Priory Park and Ride site off the A63 Clive Sullivan Way.
Matt Cranwell, managing director for Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “The Hull Fair is always an immensely popular city event, and with it being cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we expect a high volume of people will want to get back to some of the things they love, and so will visit the fair this year. We will therefore be laying on special services to meet with the demand.”
Bus users are encouraged to wear face coverings on board.
Fares for all the services are the same. The adult return fare is £3.50, with the child return fare being £2.30. A family ticket of 2 adults and up to 3 children is £9.00.
