IT’S SHOWTIME

-

THIS November, Hull City Hall steps back into the spotlight with the world-class entertainment that the historic venue is renowned for.

Recently, the venue has played an integral part in the Covid-19 vaccination programme and while we are proud to have been involved in this vital work, we can’t wait to get back to doing what we do best – hosting live events.

Now, we look forward to a phenomenal new season that will see even the darkest nights light up with a glittering display of shimmering stars.

One of the first onto the stage will be Some Guys Have All The Luck tomorrow, which honours rock icon Rod Stewart and features the classic hits Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m

Sexy, and Sailing.

The following night, the ladies from Fascinating Aida will provide some much needed glamour with their hilarious songs and cracking cabaret, on November 4.

More gags and giggles will be supplied by critically acclaimed comedian Chris Ramsey when he returns to Hull as part of his biggest stand-up tour to date, on November 6.

From mirth, back to music, as “The King” is celebrated in The Elvis Years, November 13, with an unforgettable journey through his legendary career. Following on is the prince of punk poetry John Cooper Clarke who will deliver a mix of classic verse, hilarious ponderings on modern life, and good honest gags, on November 23. Kicking off a dazzling December are indie favourites Shed Seven, performing on December 1, with their Another Night, Another Town, Greatest Hits Live Tour – which proves the times are “Getting Better”.

The run-up to Christmas brings festive greetings and a Fairytale Of New York – the ultimate feel good Irish-inspired show packed full of seasonal tunes, on December 11, and the perfect yuletide singa-long show – The Non Stop Sixties Christmas Show featuring Mike D’abo of the Manfreds, Brian Poole of The Tremeloes, and Vanity Fare.

These are just some of the highlights on the way soon, with more in-between and even more to come in the future.
