SPICER’S Auctioneers are excited to be appearing once again on the popular television programme, Dickinson’s Real Deal. Filming will be taking place at the Goole-based auctioneers on Friday, November 5, following an open valuation event held at Bridlington Spa on Saturday, October 23.

At the public valuation events, Mr Dickinson, along with his film crew and production team, meet a variety of people who pop along with objects they consider to be of interest, to be scrutinised by the show’s regular dealers.

Cash offers are then made to buy items from their owners; however, if Mr Dickinson thinks they could get a better deal at auction, he brings an expert into the conversation – on this occasion, Andy Spicer - to offer his professional opinion, and a rough estimate of the anticipated hammer price, before the item is consigned for sale.

Andy said: “Among our regular range of modern and vintage home furnish

ings, jewellery and ceramics will be lots brought over from the valuation day, including what David would call ‘a real bobby dazzler,’ an immaculate, boxed 1992 Rolex Submariner 16610, with an estimated auction estimate of £5,000 to £7,000.
