HULL’S Ken Doll has revealed he managed to get fake tan while in prison.

Ken Doll, whose real name is Jimmy Featherstone, made the shocking admission on Instagram when responding to his fans who had asked about his time in prison recently.

He also revealed he had a phone in his cell to make calls to his friends and family.

Jimmy 22, was bound by two court orders made in relation to matters heard in court in May 2020 and in April last year.

His failure to comply with both orders finally caught up with him and he was sentenced to time in custody for his flagrant disrespect for the courts.

While answering questions on his Instagram, one person asked him: “Was prison bad?? I wouldn’t last a night lol.”

To which Jimmy replied: “No, I knew guys in there who was on my wing who knew my father plus had a phone in my room to make calls to my family and friends.

“Also I got money sent in to me that allowed you to buy anything really. You get a shopping list and you can buy literally anything.

“I even got fake tan in there, however I only did four weeks although in there it’s a long time but outside world is nothing thanks for asking xxx.”

Jimmy has been a famous face in Hull for some time now, with the “Ken doll” making headlines for spending thousands of pounds on cosmetic surgery and designer outfits.

When he was released from prison late last year, Jimmy was picked up in a Range Rover and was brought a bottle of Moet champagne and a personalised cookie to celebrate.

The Ministry of Justice state that prisoners are “entitled to buy cosmetic items to use while in prison”, though they are not allowed to receive a treatment from an external beautician.
