Create a cool Photo Grid

1 Open Shortcuts app

In order to make a photo collage, you need to use one of the shortcuts available to you within IOS 12. Download the Shortcuts app and open it. Then tap the Gallery tab.

2 Find the shortcut

Scroll down the screen until you reach the section that’s marked Photography. Now scroll along horizontally until you find the shortcut called Photo Grid and tap on it.

3 Add the shortcut

You’ll see a synopsis of what the shortcut does as well as details of the app it works with, in this case Photos. Tap ‘Get Shortcut’ and it will be added to the Library tab.

4 Activate Photo Grid

Tap the Library tab and select the entry for Photo Grid. Now tap ‘Allow Access’ at the top of the list of actions. This lets Shortcuts access the images stored in Photos.

5 Start the process

Tap the Play button at the top of the screen (or hit Done and re-tap Photo Grid). This will open the Photos app, allowing you to see and select images for your collage.

6 Select your images

Tap the images you would like to include in your collage and tap ‘Done’. You will now be able to see your resulting image which you can then use in multiple ways.
