Sometimes you need to reach out to a particular person in a Whatsapp group chat. Perhaps they’ve asked for contact details or you need to discuss the behaviour of another group member. It’s generally been a hassle; you’ve had to leave the group chat and start a separate conversation. But that has now changed. Whatsapp has added a new ‘reply privately’ feature to the IOS app, allowing you to quickly send your missive away from the group.
Whatsapp has also added two other features. You can add stickers to images, videos and GIFS and you can use 3D Touch on a compatible iphone to preview any status updates created by your contacts. For these to work you will, of course, need the latest Whatsapp app, so make sure you update it before you crack on with the tutorial.
