Recompose your clips

Fit

Click this option if you want to display an iphonesourced video shot in portrait mode with a 9:16 aspect ratio. The entire clip will remain uncropped. Black bars will be added either side of the vertically composed clip.

Crop to fill

By clicking this option you’ll make a clip (or photo) fill the entire frame. If you apply this option to an iphone-sourced 9:16shaped clip then you will lose the top and bottom of its contents.

Rotate clips

If you start shooting in vertical portrait orientation and then rotate your iphone to continue shooting in horizontal landscape orientation you’ll find these buttons useful. Click to rotate clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Crop overlay

After choosing the ‘Crop to Fill’ option you can drag the crop overlay window’s corner handles to recompose the shot. Drag inside the overlay to reposition it without resizing it. Areas that will be removed by the crop will be greyed out.
