Turn off screenshot previews
Learn how to prevent previews from launching when you take a screenshot on your Mac
Having a preview of any screenshots you take is useful. It allows you to click the thumbnail and begin editing the screenshot, and it also makes deleting and sharing the images you create straightforward. But it’s not always entirely convenient. Luckily, there’s a way of preventing previews from launching, and it’s such a simple click that you can activate or deactivate the feature as and when you need it. Here we look at how it’s done as well as how you can still access editing features.
