Master Textedit
Use advanced lists and tables
Create tables to position text and images on the page and drag the borders to resize them as required. When you have finished set the border to zero in order to hide them, leaving just the content. Format lists
This panel is very useful when formatting sub-lists. Use it to choose the sub-list style. Here we selected an alphabetical list with brackets either side. The parent list number was added too.
Colour and format
Enter text into table cells with hidden borders and then use the cell alignment functions to align the text left and the numbers right. Set the cell background colour instead of the text background.
List and sub-lists
There is no menu option or toolbar button to create sublists. Instead, you must use a keyboard shortcut. Hold down Option/alt and press the Tab key to create a sublist and sub-list of a sub-list.
