the cleanest of interfaces

Photos, comments, hashtags and likes work together

-

To date we still do not have an ipad Instagram app to work with, which is surprising given the potential for the platform on a larger mobile screen, but the way it works on an iphone or even through the web interface still succeeds in the most important areas. Here’s how to navigate the interface.

Photo quality

It would be easy to say that Instagram is all about the photos and that is true to a point. No matter what you do you will need to ensure that your photos are consistently of very high quality and interesting in as unique a way as possible.

Using hashtags

Hashtags are vital to building a successful Instagram account, but they need to be utilised wisely. You should do your research and ensure that you are using relevant hashtags, but try not to use too many as that can look messy.

Photo feedback

You should allow comments on your photos as that is the best way to gain feedback on what people think about your creations. Make sure you check them regularly though to ensure that negative reviews are not dominating your account feedback.

Numbers game

Take time to check your follower numbers and also the type of followers you are getting. You can also use this icon to access settings and to keep your profile fresh all of the time. It makes sense to make positive changes now and again.
