Find lost devices in seconds

1 Read the help

When you first open the app you will be presented with a long list of instructions. You don’t need to read these, but they are genuinely useful and will help you use the app.

2 Searching

When you come out of the help screen the app will automatically start searching for any Bluetooth device that is connected to your iphone. It only takes a few seconds to complete.

3 Your devices

Once the scan is completed you will see a list of all Bluetooth devices that are connected to your iphone. Note the indicators showing warm, cold etc to show roughly where they are.

4 Hot or cold

When you tap a device in the list you will see a graph at the top showing the rough distance it is away from your iphone. The levels change in an instant as you move around.

5 Take your time

Walk around with your iphone in hand and look closely at the recent levels displayed. As you get nearer they will change to fill the bars at which point you should see your device.

6 It really works

When found, tap the bar at the bottom to let the app know. At this point the app has done what it was built for which is to let you use your senses to locate a missing device.

7 Cold by design

Some devices, such as smartwatches and fitness trackers, show up as cold most of the time due to the low power they use to keep powered for longer. The app still works though.

8 Extra information

Also displayed when looking for a device will be the time it was last seen, the @ signifier and the exact location level in numeric form. The higher the number the closer it is.
