Use the Info panel to add extra information to your images and make them easier to find
•Master metadata to apply more info to your images
When you snap a shot on your iphone, a host of information is stored inside the image file. This data can be very useful. Metadata contains information that Apple’s Photos app can use to display images chronologically or by where they were captured. It is also used to categorise images as specific media types such as Slo-mo, Panorama, Portrait, etc. Metadata can be customised in the Photos app to help you find files faster, and by adding keywords to a file you’ll make it easier to locate in searches. You can also add location information to files imported from cameras that don’t have a GPS system. This enables you to view the image’s location on a map within the Photos app.
