Dictate notes and tick lists straight from your wrist with the free Google Keep app

-

• Take notes on your Apple Watch using Google Keep

Apple hasn’t yet included its Notes app on the Watch but that doesn’t mean you’re left with no means of capturing ideas on the go. There are numerous note-taking apps available which bridge this gap and Google Keep’s recent availability on Apple Watch is the latest. To install it, you simply need to download the Google Keep app on to your iphone before popping over to the Watch app where, under the ‘My Watch’ tab, you can ensure the wearable version will be made available in watchos.

When you launch it, you’ll find you can display the ten most recent notes you create on your iphone or on your Watch, showing a couple of lines of text or an image preview. You can also make use of lists and manage your notes to a degree. The most useful aspect, however, is arguably the ability to dictate your notes on the Watch, although you have to do this within the app itself since

Siri is not yet integrated. Here we guide you through the process of creating notes on your Apple Watch.
