Utilise and customise an image’s information
Camera settings
This section shows you typical camera settings, such as the shutter speed and aperture used to capture the photo. You can also see the file type and its resolution.
Keywords
By typing in keywords, you can make the file easier to find. Once you’ve exported the file to any folder on your Mac you can use Finder to locate the shot by searching for keywords embedded in its metadata.
Get info
Click here to summon the Info panel. This will display any metadata attached to the selected photo.
GPS
Your iphone uses the satellite global positioning system to tag a photo with its location. This enables you to display shots on a map. You can remove location information when exporting a shot (which may be handy when sharing it to social media sites).
