Familiarise yourself with the main interface elements and tools

This top menu houses a Glossary of technical and musical terminology and a handy tuner for guitar. The Mixer has volume controls for varying the component audio levels, while Setup defines the preferences for inputs and lesson behaviours.

Below the teacher you will find either a guitar neck or a set of piano keys – depending on the lesson type – indicating associated finger positions. By default you will automatically see music notation appear above this when required.

This is the main panel where your teacher will address you and demonstrate the featured playing techniques for you to follow. Hover your cursor over this panel to switch between the Learn To Play chapters or toggle the focal points.

At the bottom of the lesson is a duration bar complete with chapter markers. Here you’ll notice a playhead moves along to denote progress, while below are controls for playback alongside the speed and volume markers.
