Automate it

By configuring the option in the Memory Diag preferences, you can make the memoryrecycling process occur automatically when memoryhogging apps are closed.

Free up memory

By clicking on the ‘Recycle’ icon in the middle of the chart, Memory Diag will instantly free up the cache used by the apps that you close to give your Mac an instant performance boost.

Draining apps

Currently open apps that are causing a significant drain on your Mac’s memory will be displayed here. You should consider quitting any of these apps that you aren’t using.

Clicking on the menu bar item displays a chart of how your

Mac’s memory is currently being used, complete with a key underneath and a gauge to accurately display the memory pressure.
