Set up Screen Recording

1 Launch Settings

To use Screen Recording in IOS you will need to add it to Control Centre. Open the Settings app and then scroll down through the options before tapping on ‘Control Centre’.

2 Customise controls

There are only two settings to play around with here. Make sure that ‘Access Within Apps’ is turned on and then tap on the ‘Customise Controls’ option below.

3 Add the control

There are two parts to the screen: the controls already included in the Control Centre at the top and those not included at the bottom. Tap ‘+’ next to ‘Screen Recording’.

4 Organise the controls

Now that Screen Recording has been added, you can press and hold on the list icon to the side and move it up or down to determine where it sits in Control Centre.

5 Open Control Centre

Exit the Settings app and then swipe up to access your Control Centre. Amongst the controls, you should now be able to see the Screen Recording button.

6 Start recording

When you are ready to start recording, tap on the button and then a three-second countdown will appear. When it counts down the button will turn red to indicate recording.
