Shooting tips

To shoot suitable source material for a split-screen magic trick, you need to set your camera to manual exposure and focus. This enables you to create a seamless blend between two video layers. If you shoot using auto, the camera may change its focus point and exposure setting, causing the two clips to be noticeably different. A tripod will help the two clips align perfectly.
