Logitech MX Keys Wiireless Keyboard

THIRD-PARTY MAC KEYBOARDS have generally got to be spectacular if they are to tempt us away from the Apple model that perfectly complements our imacs. Logitech’s MX Keys, a wireless keyboard with smart illumination, is built for your Mac, presents several key advantages over the standard keyboard, and is by far the strongest temptation yet.
Let there be light
By going to a setup website, you can download special software for your Mac that you can use to assign controls to the various keys either for general use or specific to certain apps. If you are also using Logitech’s MX Master 3 mouse
(see page 79), then that, too, is fully customisable, allowing creative Mac users to obtain the best configuration to suit their style of project.
You can connect your Mac to the MX Keys via Bluetooth or via the supplied
USB receiver and enjoy cross-computer control as the keyboard tracks your Flowenabled mouse from one Mac to another. Another nice feature of the keyboard is the smart illumination. Just hover your fingers over the keys and it lights up in response to its impending usage.
We also love the look and feel of the keyboard. The space gray finish matches that of the imac Pros, but it doesn’t look out of place alongside the standard models too. It has a smooth, low-action typing mechanism and is a decent weight (810g). Wide rubber pads on the underside keep it rooted in one place. We like it a lot.
