Create a live action comic book
1 Import clips
Go to the Projects panel. Click Create New>movie. Go to File 4 Add title Click on the Titles panel. Drag the Comic Book title onto the timeline. Stretch it to cover the first two clips. Double-click on the title bar. Change text to ‘Snow Motion!’. Click the tick. 7 Multi-panels Click on ‘Transitions’. Drag the Comic Book 1 themed transition between clips four and five. Play the sequence. This animated transition places multiple clips into comic book panels. 2 Choose a theme Click on Settings. Click ‘No Theme’ and ‘Comic Book’. Click the Change button to choose that theme. Click Settings again and un-tick the Automatic Content box. 5 Add caption Drag the Lower Third 2 caption above the third clip. Double-click on title bar and change text to ‘Starring Luna!’. Click the tick. Play the sequence to see the customised graphics. 8 Stylise a clip Click on the first clip in the timeline. Click on the Clip filter icon above the viewer. Click the Clip Filter button. Click to apply the stylised Comic Cool preset to the chosen clip. 3 Add to timeline Click and drag to select all the clips in My Media. Press W to add to the timeline. Press the spacebar to play the edited sequence. Some of the clips are in slow motion. 6 Add credits All comic books are credited so drag the Credits 3 title over the last clip. Double-click to edit text. You may find it a fiddle to access and edit the ‘Description’ in the top text box! 9 Paste adjustments Click on the first clip and choose Edit> Copy. Shift-click to select the rest of the clips in the timeline. Choose Edit>paste Adjustments> Clip Filter to stylise the rest of the clips.
