The days when an IOS Home Screen was just a collection of individual app icons have long gone. At first, Apple allowed users to place apps in folders. Then it let us make use of widgets. Together, it means that you can better personalise your screens, and you can even create a whole new set of icons for your apps! Even if you don’t, you can produce amazing bespoke layouts and you needn’t stop with the first Home Screen. Why not design individual pages around a theme: one page for News, one for Productivity, etc? Or keep swiping left for the App Library where apps are organised by categories, just ripe for expanding upon.
