Master screenshots
Taking screenshots on IOS is easy, and there are many other options to explore related to it as well…
34 Take a screenshot
Depending on the model of iphone that you own, you can take screenshots by pressing the Home and side buttons simultaneously or by pressing the volume up and side buttons. You will hear a shutter sound to confirm.
35 Hide thumbnails
Unlike on Mac, there is currently no option to turn off the thumbnails in IOS. However, there is a way to quickly remove them – just swipe them away to the left. You can make them stay longer by pressing and swiping slightly to the right.
36 Markup screens
When you take a screenshot, a small thumbnail will appear in the lower-left corner of the screen. If you tap on this icon, you will instantly enter Markup mode, whereby you can add notes and annotations to an image.
37 Capture websites
When taking a screenshot of a website in Safari, tap on the thumbnail to enter Markup mode and then tap on the ‘Full Page’ option. You will now take a screen of the entire webpage, rather than just what is currently displayed on the screen.
