Stretching time

Flex Time is essentially a method for stretching audio timing. As you drag a marker back or toward an adjacent one, the waveform moves elastically. This segregation of transients at such a minute level allows the subsequent expansion or compression to work. Timing can then be edited without harming note pitch, which was always an undesired side-effect in traditional studio editing.
