An endless supply of themes

Many writing apps offer a selection of pre-made themes and also extra ones that have been created by users. This potentially gives you a never-ending supply of themes that you can use to tweak your writing interface and, while the installation process is manual, it only takes a few seconds to install them.

1 Find the setting

In your writing app, in this case Writeroom, look for the themes setting. It will either be hidden within preferences or available as a simple menu option.

2 Browse the themes

The various themes will be available for you to download and you can then move the downloaded file to the app themes folder. Now select it from the theme list.

3 Time to create

Your new theme will be activated and you can now enjoy your new interface to write within. This can help if you need a new environment to help you form new ideas.
