Create an epub book

The epub file format is the most popular and potentially stable for building ebooks, and it is naturally supported by most of the publishing services, including Apple. The good news is that you do not need to worry about buying software because Apple’s macos Pages app will take care of this for you and the process is very quick and easy.

1 Write as normal

No matter what software you have created your novel in, you can easily transfer the content and formatting to Pages via standard copy and pasting.

2 A high-level option

In File>export To you will see an EPUB option. It highlights the creative intent of Apple to place it next to PDF, Word and Plain Text.

3 The detail

You will be asked to complete some simple information, one of which is the ability to add a book cover. This is always a worthwhile option at every stage.

4 Other routes

Many services will also accept PDF and Plain Text as compatible file formats for book publishing. Find the format that works the best for your needs.

5 Save and back up

You can now save your epub file and we would suggest that you back it up. Backing up is a good idea at every stage of your novel writing and ebook creation.

6 Time to use it

Your epub file will contain all of the content you want to display to the world, but you will notice how many different apps are needed to create an excellent end result.
