If you set your iphone to automatically upload pictures and footage to icloud then they’ll appear in your Mac’s Photos app when you get home. You can then access and edit your assets from within imovie as it has direct access to the Photos app. This shooting, organising and editing workflow means you can combine iphone-sourced clips and stills quickly and easily and then share your multimedia montage on social media.
