With your iphone always to hand you can document daily activities as a series of stills and video clips. If you set your iphone to automatically upload pictures and footage to icloud then they’ll appear in your Mac’s Photos app when you get home. You can then access and edit your assets from within imovie as it has direct access to the Photos app. This shooting, organising and editing workflow means you can combine iphone-sourced clips and stills quickly and easily and then share your multimedia montage on social media. We’ll show you how this process works and demonstrate ways to bring your stills to life by adding movement, such as using a still to help tell a story by zooming into a particular area.
