Organise your files and find anything in an instant

Macos includes a variety of tools that can effectively negate the need to ever create a folder

Imagine all of the contents of your garage strewn all over the floor in no order at all, and compare that to all of your tools on shelves and categorised neatly for finding when you need to get to them. The latter sounds perfectly logical, but how long did it take you to make the garage so neat and organised? It would likely have taken some time, but in this case it does make finding what you need easier. If, however, there were tools that helped you to find anything instantly without the need to compartmentalise everything, you may actually find it more efficient to just put everything in the garage in any random order and find what you need later on. It sounds counterintuitive, but you can work this way on a Mac, as we will now demonstrate.

Don’t waste time organising your folders. Just bung everything into one big folder and use Spotlight!
