Apple’s pro-level video-editing suite has undergone a major overhaul by introducing workflow extensions that enable professional video editors to use third-party apps and services within the editing interface. As you’d expect, all extensions fit in perfectly with Final Cut’s aesthetic, integrating themselves to drag media into FCP libraries, sync playback between extensions and timeline, add clip markers and more. Extensions that you’ll be able to use straight away include Shutterstock for all things stock footage, Frame.io for reviewing and approval and CATDV for asset management.
