Nobody can dispute the expansiveness of Logic Pro X’s bundled sound library; its sheer amount of sounds, samples and presets make it incredible value for money. Yet with smaller-capacity SSD drives in many new Macs and the subsequent trade-off between superfast access times and the amount of stuff they can hold, having such a hefty resource permanently installed can be a mixed blessing. Fortunately, Logic’s latest update allows you to free up space by moving this behemoth of content onto an external drive.
