Set up Screen Time and track your iphone activity

There has been concern recently that we are spending too much time staring at our phones and that we should be doing more productive things than trying to beat our high score at Candy Crush. Apple’s response has been to add a new feature to IOS called Screen Time that records the time you spend on the iphone and ipad and what activities you engage in.

The feature is disabled by default, so you must enable it to use it. You also need to spend hours, and preferably days, using your iphone/ipad before useful information is available in Screen Time. You need to collect some data before following this tutorial, so bear this in mind if you have just enabled it.
