4 rea­sons to buy iPhone 8

Just be­cause a phone is a year old doesn’t mean it should be for­got­ten about…


The iphone 8 and 8 Plus were re­leased just over 12 months ago along­side the iphone X and are the nat­u­ral suc­ces­sor to the iphone 7 and 7 Plus. If you al­ready own one of those iphone 7s, up­grad­ing to an iphone 8 doesn’t make much sense un­less you’re com­pletely en­am­oured with the form and fac­tor, which re­mains the same in the iphone 8 range.

The iphone XR is def­i­nitely one to keep an eye out for. But any­one with an iphone 6 or lower could do a lot worse than iphone 8. We’re go­ing to list four rea­sons why you should buy it be­low, but first a cou­ple of caveats. It’s still ex­pen­sive, you don’t get an edge-to-edge dis­play and there’s no Face ID. How im­por­tant they are to you might be de­ter­mined by the fol­low­ing pos­i­tives.
