Ensure Siri is activated

Can’t get Siri to work? Maybe it is turned off or it’s having trouble understanding you

Launch Settings app

You’ll need to open the Settings app to check Siri is up and running, so click on the app icon from the Home screen and then navigate to ‘General’.

Turn Siri On

Siri is activated by simply finding Siri on the General settings page and clicking it. Note that turning it on sends information, such as your location, to Apple when you make requests.

Different languages

Siri can cope with different types of English, with settings for the United States, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom. Select the one you want here.
