A new way, everywhere

You don’t need to limit this new way of working to just files because you can transpose it to other areas of your Mac usage as well. For example, you have likely spent many hours moving emails to folders to keep your inbox as small as possible, but is this really necessary? You have a powerful search tool in Mail that will find any email, even in the biggest of inboxes. Save some time and relax a little because, ultimately, life is too short to worry about organising your inbox.

1 A huge inbox

In Mail you will not, by default, see the number of emails in the inbox – handy if you choose not to organise your emails. A large inbox can still be searched efficiently though.

2 Search and find

Type any search term in the top righthand box and a list of related emails will appear in the main panel. Subject results will also appear in a grey panel to the right.
