Create your own dynamic desktop in macos Mojave
The desktop does not have to be static you can create a dynamic one that changes throughout the day
There is a great new feature in macos Mojave, and you have probably spotted it already – the dynamic desktop. The desktop image changes throughout the day to reflect the passing of time. Get up before dawn and the Mac’s desktop image will be dark, but it brightens as the Sun rises. In the evening, as the Sun begins to set, the desktop darkens and a night image appears. How do you do this with your own desktop images? A similar effect can be achieved by taking a series of photos, or, as we have, editing a photo to make it appear different from dawn to dusk. Save the images to a folder, select the folder for the desktop and set it to change on a schedule.
Dynamic Desktop is a cool feature of macos Mojave, but did you know that you can create your own?
