TIFFANY’S STYLE?

THE LARGE FLOOR TILES WORK WITH UNDERFLOOR HEATING AND GIVE THE LOOK OF POLISHED CONCRETE.

‘Cooking and eating with friends and family is a huge part of our life. We chose this house mainly for the open-plan ground floor, which combines the living, dining and kitchen areas in one sociable space. We were happy with the original kitchen’s position, but the tatty units had to go. We wanted a fresh, modern look, some top-of-therange cooking equipment, and a bigger centre island. I also wanted a streamlined finish, with everything hidden inside cabinets. I found Pluck on Instagram (@pluckldn). Its team listened to our ideas and worked with us to accommodate musthaves like the commercialgrade combi-oven. Fitting the cabinetry took about five days and cost around £3,000. It took another fortnight for templating and fitting the worktops. We’re both delighted with the new kitchen. It functions really well and the mix of natural wood and colour is gorgeous. It’s easily the best part of the house.’

‘THE TALL WALL UNITS HAVE NIFTY POCKET DOORS, WHICH ARE A GREAT SOLUTION. THEY HIDE EVERYTHING, THEN SLIDE RIGHT OUT OF THE WAY AT THE SIDES WHEN I WANT TO ACCESS THE CONTENTS.’

‘NOW WE HAVE

OUR BOILING WATER TAP, WE WOULDN’T BE WITHOUT IT! IT REDUCES CLUTTER ON THE WORKTOPS AND IT’S SO CONVENIENT, ESPECIALLY AS MY COOKING OFTEN REQUIRES INSTANT HOT WATER.’
