SARAH’S STYLE?

Sarah Jones lives here with her husband Chris and their baby, Callum.

‘When we moved in four years ago we made changes throughout the house, finally taking on the bathroom. It was a mishmash of styles and the layout didn’t work, so we searched for an interior designer to provide a creative approach that was a bit different. We found Caroline Nicholls, from Slightly Quirky Interior Design (slightlyquirky. com). Working with an expert allowed us to explore our ideas and make them a reality, especially when it came to the layout, lighting, sourcing materials and sanitaryware, as well as achieving a cohesive overall look. A spa style, embracing the lack of windows in the room to create a cocoon-like feel, with a dark, luxurious finish and great lighting, was top of our wish list.

The build started at the beginning of 2020 and included taking some space from the living room. The project took three months and cost around £13,000.’
