‘Black and white is a winning mix’

‘Luckily the stove was already in the house, but we painted the wall behind it black as it really structures and zones the living room area. With so much white elsewhere, the room can take it. I love the white wooden floor as it bounces loads of light around. We can happily be barefoot, it feels warm and it isn’t difficult to maintain, even with four pets. The coffee table was made from an old door found in the house and metal legs bought online.’
